Disaster changes lives-especially for children. And whatever type of disaster or trauma they have experienced, children often need support to process what has happened. Camp Noah provides a safe, caring, and fun environment where children build resiliency skills within the familiarity of their own communities, using a proven curriculum designed to help children process their disaster and/or trauma experience. In this safe and supportive setting, children are encouraged to face their fears, grieve their losses, identify and share their unique gifts and talents, and plan for an amazing future.

Trinity Lutheran Church will host Camp Noah on August 14-18 from 3:30-6:00pm. This week corresponds with the one year anniversary of the 2016 Great Flood that devastated so many families.  All children K-6 are invited and encouraged to attend.  There is no cost to you, but you must register your child so we have an accurate number. Supper will be held in the fellowship hall at 6:00pm. Registration forms are also available on the welcome kiosk.  Turn your forms in at the church office in the folder entitled "Camp Noah Registration Forms"

If you can provide individual snacks and/or juice boxes, please drop at the church office.  We need 50 of each per day. Volunteers are needed to make this important event a success, even your monetary donations for the meal can help!  Place your donation for Camp Noah in the offering plate and mark "Camp Noah" in the subject line. Please call 225-272-3110 with questions.
