Baton Rouge Lutheran School is not damaged.   Both classes and childcare operate as usual.
Throughout the Baton Rouge area there are families that need help, especially the "physical" sort.  Checkout how you can volunteer through CAMP RESTORE - BATON ROUGE.

        Help the Children!

At least 1/2 of our faculty and staff have homes affected by the flooding.  We have had limited communication with school families but, to date, we estimate over 1/2 have been directly impacted by flood waters.  Many families will be without income while their employers recover and businesses re-open.

Donations are already providing a week of free hot lunch and childcare for students --  directly impacted by the flooding or with parents needing childcare so they can help friends or relatives with damaged homes.

Did you know that, following demolition  of flood-damaged walls and floors and the removal of water- and sewage-soaked belongings and following treatments for mold and bug infestations, families  have to wait at least 4 weeks to begin repairs to their homes?

Make an online donation to help our students immediately replace clothing and supplies lost in home flooding.  Help their parents and guardians by temporarily providing hot lunches for the children and covering their tuition payments.

We can accept your credit card donations for the benefit of these families immediately.

We also welcome your gifts of cash or checks to help our students return to their normal daytime activities.

PLEASE, keep our community in your prayers.
