Students need to be involved in the community -- and being involved can be fun! Special activities add excitement to the daily routine of instruction and enable students to experience learning beyond the boundaries of our campus.
Science Fair, school and state-wide competitions
Visit to French restaurant (6th-8th)
Visits to area nursing homes
Visits to parent workplaces
Youth Legislature (6th-8th)
Start-of-School Barbecue for Kindergarten students (and their families)
Penguins & P.J.’s Party for Kindergarten students (and their families)
Monthly "They're O.K." meetings for the parents of 1st grade parents (and, sometimes, students)
Junior High Back-to-School Night Meeting & Dinner for 6th-8th grade students (and their families)
Periodic planning meetings for the 8th grade End-of-School Year trip involve the 8th grade students (and their families)
...And all of these activities are in addition to field trips and club events!
