Revelation: The Apocalypse is Here

And I feel fine.

Sermon Series Beginning June 2, 2024

There are many reasons people do not want to study the book of Revelation. Some are scared by it. Some think it’s too complicated. Others think that it’s too much work to understand it. Yet, three times in the book we are told, “Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy”; “Blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near”; and then by Jesus Himself, “Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book” (1:3; 22:7).

Eat Pizza to Help Our Youth!

What could be better than having a homemade Pastor Dave Buss pizza AND providing funds for our youth to attend the National Youth Gathering next summer? Available flavors are Cheese, Pepperoni, Meat Lovers, Special, and Hawaiian, as long as supplies last.

Pizzas are located in the freezer in the narthex kitchen. Minimum donation per pizza is $20 and payment can be made by cash, check, or with your phone using the QR code posted on the money box in the narthex kitchen.

Special thanks to Pastor Dave and Lynette Buss!

Youth Meals

Our high school youth meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30–8pm for dinner, fellowship, and time together in the Word. We are looking for individuals or groups who would be interested in providing a meal for about 10 youth. Nothing fancy, teenagers are easy to please with simple meals like pizza!

Not a cook? You can still help by providing a monetary donation to purchase food from the students' favorite places! Just place your donation in the offering plate in an envelope marked "Youth Night Meals." Checks can be made out to Trinity Lutheran Church.

Thank you for supporting our young sisters and brothers who take time during the week for fellowship and God's Word!

If you would like to purchase a brick, please fill out the online form below or pick up a paper form from the table to the left as you exit the narthex. Has Anything Changed?

If you have a new email address or name change that only affects your Trinity emails, you can update your Constant Contact profile using the Update Profile link at the bottom of this email. To update your information in our Trinity Directory, please email mrosendahl@tlcbr.org or call 225-272-3110. These databases are independent because many people use different email addresses for general online purposes than they use for personal contacts.
