LCMS Youth Gathering Service Projects

Bulk Suppliers Needed

At the 2025 LCMS Youth Gathering, participants will again have the opportunity to serve others through on-site service projects at the Convention Center. Two key projects will focus on assembling hygiene kits for individuals experiencing homelessness and backpacks filled with school supplies for children in need. These efforts will directly benefit people in New Orleans and those served by Ysleta Lutheran Mission.

If you have connections to suppliers who can donate or offer bulk discounts, please contact LCMS Youth Ministry at youth.ministry@lcms.org.

Our goal is to prepare 2,500 school supply backpacks and 3,000+ hygiene kits. To make this possible and cost-effective, we are seeking support from our LCMS community. While we will share additional ways for congregations and individuals to contribute closer to the Gathering, we first hope to establish a base of supplies through large-quantity providers. Many of you have valuable connections to donated items or opportunities to purchase supplies at discounted rates, and we would love your help.
