Making a Difference
Two missionaries with links to Trinity were highlighted during the recent LCMS Convention.
LCMS Missionaries Rev. Kevin Robson, LCMS Chief Mission Officer, introduced two dedicated missionaries as conference speakers. Chelsea Irwin, a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, serves in the Eurasia region by placing and coordinating volunteers to support mission efforts across the area. Since 1981, Deaconess Carol Halter has faithfully ministered to the Chinese people in Hong Kong as an Evangelistic Missionary, bringing the hope of Christ through service and outreach. Both missionaries provided inspiring reflections on their work and the ways God is moving through their ministries.

Carol’s work in Hong Kong has been supported by Trinity for many years. She sent a letter to Pastor Crowe and our congregation just last year, published here, and a link to her newsletter was shared in Your Midweek TLC just this past May, available here.
Chelsea was a third grade student of Liz Slothower at Bread of Life Lutheran School in Omaha, Nebraska.
It is a beautiful thing to see the impact God is having on His children all over the world using members of Trinity Lutheran Church.
