Class begins Sunday, October 4, 2026 during the Christian Education Hour
Pastor Crowe will be starting a new-to-Trinity class, What is a Lutheran, Anyway? on October 4 at 9:45 a.m. If you interested in learning more about what makes Lutheranism so intriguing and/or becoming a member at Trinity (November 22), please let us know by filling out the form below so that we may plan accordingly.
*Note: The regular Sunday study in the sanctuary will continue during this period with a guest leader.

Phil’s Friends Event
Saturday, September 26, 10 am –3 pm

A Phil’s Friends Servant Event has been scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 10 am to 3 pm at St. Paul’s in Hammond. Mark your calendars for this event. Please use the attached information sheet to post at your church. Please encourage ladies to attend.
There are activities for everyone. People may attend the whole day, the morning hours or the afternoon hours. This is a great opportunity to help supply Care Package needs for cancer patients all over the United States through Phil’s Friends. Look at the website for more information about this wonderful organization that supplies hope and encouragement to cancer patients.
The good news is that there are 2000 more Care Packages needed this year more than projected. The news is spreading. The bad news is that there are 2000 more Care Package requests this year that were not projected, so many more items are needed to supply the Care Packages this year. The item most needed are blankets. They can be fleece tied, quilts or purchased throw blankets but all of them need to be approximately 40” x 50” give or take a few inches. They need to be this size to fit inside the boxes.
This past June we were able to deliver 61 fleece tied blankets, 7 quilts, 105 crocheted or knitted hats, 113 port pillows, 74 journals, 222 Cards of Hope and 35 Cards of Encouragement plus 7 activity books and some toiletry items from their list of purchased items. Many of these items came from churches and LWML societies throughout our district. Thank all of you who participated in making items to support this organization.
This event is a great time to fellowship and enjoy each other’s company while working on items. Please encourage ladies in your church and society to attend. Know that we are making a difference in a cancer patient’s cancer journey.
