Celebrating 10 Years of Ministry
Pastor Bill’s Ordination Anniversary
On Sunday, July 19, we celebrated the tenth anniversary of Senior Pastor Bill Crowe’s ordination, which took place on July 24, 2016.
Following the second morning worship service, the congregation gathered for a joyful potluck reception featuring three tables filled with food and desserts, along with a celebratory cake. Pastor Bill was also presented with a new Lenten stole and a travel communion kit as gifts from the congregation.

The celebration was made even more special by the presence of Pastor Bill’s mother, Geri Crowe, who was visiting from her home in Highlands, North Carolina.
Our Trinity family gives thanks to God for calling Pastor Bill into His service and for leading him and his wife, Beth, to Baton Rouge. Congratulations, Pastor Bill! May the Lord continue to bless your ministry and grant you many more years of faithful service.

A Note from Pastor Crowe:

To my beloved Trinity family, you all continue to bless me beyond measure! It never occurred to me that anyone would remember, let alone celebrate my 10-year ordination anniversary. A simple potluck would have been more than enough to make me feel appreciated and loved (anyone who has ever eaten here or had a piece of our cake knows how true of a statement that is). But clearly, that’s not the way you all roll. The Lenten stole was truly a gift that I will never forget. It’s perfect. It will remind me of how loved and blessed I am every year. But not only that, the portable Communion kit was the perfect practical touch, as I have been slowly replacing the parts of my original one. God willing, I will be able to share these gifts with you for the next 10 years of ministry. Thank you again. To God be the glory!
