Revelation Sermon Series–Week 7 Preview

Chapter 6 ends with a terrifying scene of the Last Day and final judgment. Thankfully, chapter 7 continues with the words, “After this”.

The end of the world as we know it is not the end of what John saw when the six seal was opened. The vision continues and John now sees what immediately follows the end. All believers, “a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages,” have been gathered together and are now “standing before the throne and before the Lamb” for the greatest worship service celebration of all time! It truly will be a time to celebrate, because from that moment on there will be no more hunger, thirst, crying, sin, or death. Eternal life in the presence of our Lord who will be our shepherd. Amen!
