Support Lutheran Education

St. John’s Lutheran School in New Orleans serves children from kindergarten through eighth grade. Many children who attend St. John’s do so with the help of the school choice scholarship program, LA Gator Scholarship. The source for those funds has been reduced resulting in many children currently enrolled at St. John’s no longer being awarded the grant funds.

Many of the impacted families have one child who received the grant while the other child was denied. Sadly, this means that without this financial support, many students will not be able to attend St. John Lutheran School and receive a Christian education. Equally as troubling, the families were just notified of this, and the school year begins soon. As you can imagine, the families are not sure what to do now.

As strong supporters of a Lutheran Education, the members of Trinity Lutheran Church have always risen to the call when asked to help children receive a safe, loving Christian education. With this in mind, please consider helping St. John’s Lutheran School to bridge the gap for these deserving students. Trinity Lutheran Church will be holding a door offering on July 27 and August 3 to raise funds for St. John’s Lutheran School.

Any contribution will have a profound impact on a child’s Christian educational journey, providing them with the tools and confidence they need to thrive.
